Deco Gomes

Deco Gomes is a professional singer, songwriter and musician from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Deco has been involved in music for over 20 years and he began his career by playing and performing MPB (Brazilian popular music) in Vila Madalena, Sao Paulo. It wasn’t long before he started singing and composing Samba and Pagode music and developed a name for himself in the genre. Deco has composed songs that have been recorded by musicians and groups in Brazil and received awards for his work.

Since moving to Australia, Deco has been in high demand, singing and performing at events across Sydney and around Australia. Deco is passionate about sharing the energy of Brazilian music with the masses and is a powerful and magnetic artist on stage.  An invaluable member of the Rio Projekt ensemble, Deco brings his wealth of experience, passion and vocal prowess to the Rio Projekt band and stage show, The Carnaval Experience.
